This HoH Webring was set up in November 1999.
Although there is a very good Deaf Webring already available, this mostly contains sites related to the Deaf community/culture and to sign language. The HoH Webring is aimed at people who are hard-of-hearing adults or deafened adults, or professionals working in this field.
Webrings are intended to make it easy for people searching for information on one subject to find more sites by simply following the links on the webring banner. It is a simple, and free facility. It can also help people to find your website.
If you would like your website to become part of this webring, there a few simple conditions:
- Your website must be related to hearing loss, or services for those with a hearing loss
- If your site ceases to be related to hearing loss, or ceases to exist, or moves you must inform the ringmaster
- You must display the webring 'banner' at the bottom of your homepage so that visitors to your site can easily navigate the ring
- All decisions as to whether or not to include a website in the ring will be made by the ringmaster and are final
